MEET THE DIRECTOR
Paul Dayrell
Director of Operations
Paul, a native of London, England has a rich history of player development and success within the Iowa Soccer community and beyond. Having spent many years working his way through the United States Soccer Federations educational process, Paul currently holds his USSF 'A' License, USSF National Youth License and his National Goalkeeping License.
In addition to the commitment to personal development through education, Paul is also a key figure in raising the coaching standards and overall understanding of the game throughout the region as a USSF License instructor, teaching the newly revised Youth Modules and USSF 'D' License in Iowa.
Paul serves as Camp Director for the Iowa Soccer Associations Developmental Camp and has been an Olympic Development Program (ODP) coach for the past 8 years. Paul holds the distinct honor of being the only coach in Iowa's history to take a team to a National Championship at both the Club and ODP level.
More importantly than any team success are the many players that have moved on to play at the next level, whether that be into an MLS Academy program or to continued education playing in college.
As Director of Soccer Operations at the brand new TBK Bank Sports Complex, Paul and PLD Sports will provide a variety of tournaments (4v4, 7v7, 11v11, Futsal, Beach Soccer and more), as well as indoor and outdoor leagues and camps/clinics for all levels and interests in soccer.
Our goal is to make soccer the first choice year round!
